TEAK CLEAN AND RENOVATION
Teak renovation involves the restoration and enhancement of teak wood, a prized and durable hardwood known for its natural beauty and resistance to decay. Over time, teak furniture, decks, or other wooden structures may lose their original lustre due to exposure to the elements. The renovation typically begins with a thorough cleaning to remove dirt, grime, and old finishes. Once cleaned, the wood is often sanded to smooth out imperfections and restore a uniform surface. Teak oil or sealant is then applied to replenish the wood's natural oils and protect it from moisture, sunlight, and pests. This revitalisation brings back the rich, golden hue of teak and extends its lifespan, ensuring that it continues to stand the test of time. Teak renovation is not just a cosmetic endeavour; it's a practical measure to preserve this exceptional wood's integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Wessex Teak Renovator
Wessex Teak Cleaner. (part 1) is designed to take away the natural silver colour teak turns over time and bring it back to the colour it was when new (a straw colour). When using the Wessex Teak Cleaner for the first time, you will notice it makes the teak wood dark brown. You will also see the dirt and muck coming off as you apply it with a sponge or brush. When you have finished using Teak Cleaner and begin to rinse off with water, you will see dirty brown water running off the teak. You will see the dirt being removed!
Wessex Teak Renovator (part ), sometimes called a teak brightener, is designed to restore the colour so it looks like a new teak again. When you apply the Teak Renovator, the teak will lighten to a lovely uniform amber colour and eventually dry to a straw colour, just like the new teak. There are no patchy areas, just some teak to be proud of again!
